Adam Smith, MBA, brings a decade of accounting leadership spanning public accounting, corporate finance, property management, and fund administration. He began his career in public accounting before moving into corporate roles at Protective Life, and went on to lead accounting for Evernest — a national residential property management company — where he built his expertise in the specific rhythms of property-level and management-company financials. He later served as Fund Accounting Manager at Aduro Advisors, administering complex fund structures for institutional clients.

As Client Director and Controller at LUCA, Adam provides controller- and CFO-level services to growing businesses, with deep proficiency across the modern accounting stack — QuickBooks, Xero, Gusto, Ramp, BILL, Fathom, and more. As Corporate Controller for Vitra Housing, he oversees corporate-level accounting, financial reporting, and controls, ensuring that the same transparency Vitra promises owners is built into its own books first.
